La Parmigiana

A Southampton Italian restaurant open since 1974, serving from noon Tuesday through Sunday, with takeout and holiday gift baskets.

What to know before you go

La Parmigiana opened in 1974 in the middle of Southampton village, according to its own story page. Its founders, Celestino Gambino and his wife Josephine, named it because, the site says, "everything we do is about the cheese". It is at 44-48 Hampton Road in Southampton.

Service starts at noon, so it is a lunch option as well as a dinner one: Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday it runs until 9 pm, and on Friday and Saturday until 9:30 pm. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.

Takeout is available through the restaurant's own page and delivery apps linked there. For the holidays the site sells two gift baskets that include its tomato sauce, marinara, dressings, olive oil, pasta and salami: a large one at $125 and a small one at $85, pick-up only.
