Townline BBQ describes itself as a "'cue joint where Sagaponack meets Wainscott". It smokes dry-rubbed meats on site, and its site says no antibiotics or hormones are used in the meat it sources. Dining is indoors, outdoors and to go.
Meats are priced by weight: St. Louis ribs are $23 for a half rack and $45 for a whole rack, brisket is $9.75 for a quarter pound and $38 per pound, and pulled pork is $16 for a half pound. Sandwiches run $8 to $13.50 and include pulled pork ($12.50), brisket ($13.50) and a cheeseburger ($8 or $12).
Hours run from noon, until 9 pm Sunday through Thursday and 10 pm Friday and Saturday. The site adds "or until the 'que runs out", so go early on a busy weekend. The restaurant lists no reservation system.
It sits on Montauk Highway in Sagaponack and is a short drive from Bridgehampton and Wainscott.
