Balsam Farms

Amagansett's original Balsam Farms stand, opened in 2003, sells its own vegetables, herbs, fruit and flowers; its site lists it as closed for the season.

What to know before you go

Balsam Farms says its Amagansett stand at 293 Town Lane in Amagansett is its original outpost, opened in 2003, selling the farm's own vegetables, herbs, fruit and flowers. The Montauk market at 662 Montauk Highway, opened in 2019, is an indoor produce and grocery store.

On October 28, 2026 the contact page still read "Closed for the season. We'll reopen in May of 2026" for both locations. The notice names a date that has already passed, which means the page was not updated after last spring. The home page nevertheless lists Amagansett pickup and Montauk pickup as order-ahead options, so call 631-267-5635 before driving.

The home page also describes local grocery delivery every Friday to customers east of the Shinnecock Canal and an online "General Store" that it says is open 24/7. Restaurants including Nick & Toni's and Rowdy Hall credit Balsam Farms produce on their current menus.
