Montauk is an unincorporated hamlet in the Town of East Hampton, at the eastern tip of the South Fork.
Four restaurants are verified here. Shagwong Tavern opened in 1936 and keeps the kitchen open from noon to close with the bar open late. Harvest on Fort Pond serves dinner Tuesday to Sunday from 5 pm and takes online reservations for indoor parties up to ten. Inlet Seafood is walk-in only, owned by six fishermen, and posts no hours; it points to Instagram.
