Hampton Coffee opened this café in 1994 and it is still the flagship. It is an espresso bar, bakery and juice bar with a full-service sit-down restaurant attached, set next to the Green Thumb farm stand on Montauk Highway.
Breakfast is served all day: omelets, breakfast burritos, Mexican breakfast tacos. After that come soups, salads, gourmet burgers and made-to-order lobster rolls, plus vegetarian chili with mini corn muffins that its site calls a customer favorite. The garden patio is the place to sit: it is steps from Montauk Highway, and the café says you will feel miles away.
The espresso bar opens at 5:15 am, the kitchen at 6, and the sit-down café at 7. It closes at 5 pm, last seating at 2:45. It is also family-friendly and pet-friendly, with free Wi-Fi.
