Oakland's sits on Dune Road at the edge of Shinnecock Inlet, a restaurant, bar and marina in one, family-owned since 1992. Its pitch is simple: a view from every table, and the sunset over the inlet.
The menu runs on seafood from local waterways, with fresh lobster named as the guest favorite, alongside meats and an award-winning wine list. Live music plays on the water on a schedule posted on the site.
It is walk-in only, indoors and out, except on Mother's Day. It serves from noon every day, until 9 pm Monday to Saturday and 8 pm on Sunday, and it posts special-event closures on its site.
